That is pretty funny, that you just happened to be going by the Google Camera truck as they were shooting.

That is pretty funny, that you just happened to be going by the Google Camera truck as they were shooting. Well, I recall passing it (it was a rental car, btw, with a rig strapped/suction-cupped to the roof), but it took me a while to figure out where, since I remembered it wasn't somewhere I normally rode. I figure they were constantly taking photos while they were driving around. Flash memory's cheap, and when you're Google, you probably buy truckloads of RAM, so you probably get a decent price on the flash cards, too. UPDATE: What made me think of looking down 63rd Avenue North was that whole thang about the prison -- that's like a few blocks away. I went over there to fill up on cheap gas, and thought I'd show everyone the prison, which would be recognizable to those who saw The Last Castle, with Gandolfini and Redford -- as well as other prison flicks. I didn't have my camera, so I figured Google StreetView would have it... well, not so much. Then, I started backtracking my route from there, and... .
