Well Dawgs, it is not a scooter but I wanted to show off my new bargain 2-wheeler find. Found this '80 Suzuki GS750 yesterday for $200. 9k miles. The carbs are off because I am going through them to get it running. Other than that it just looks like it will need tires, a battery, and fluids to be ready to go. Even the original exhaust is still in good shape and shiny. I don't need more 2-wheelers but how do you pass up something like that?

Don't Armorall the tires. It makes them slippery.

My son recently picked up an '82 (IIRC) 550 for FREE but it is no where as nice as your 750. Guess it just goes to show you only get what you pay for! (LOL)

Don't Armorall the tires. It makes them slippery. Thanks for the heads up but the tires just look shiny because it was rainy that day.

Great looking bike (copycat ... ;D). Is it a similar engine to the one I'm getting (1980 Honda CB750K)? It look like a very similar design. It's an inline 4 at a forward angle right? (slant-4 ). Nice bike! Aero

The Japanese 4 cylinders used to be known as UJMs. Universal Japanese Machines. I like the sound and feel of a 4. It is a shame you can't get them in the standard style but that seems to be changing again. The new ones are naked sport bikes with water cooling and a forward tilt to the riding position.
Actually that style was supposed to be like a cruiser.

Always did like the UJM in-line fours; used to have a 550 Honda. My best "bargain" so far is an in-line twin Honda, dual-cam, that needs a new alternator; but whaddaheck, it was free.
