Interesting, they aren't using the alloy seat back and handle that usually goes with the body style. Can you use the seat to pull it on the centerstand?

One was bent, so while we wait for the replacement, we thought they look more uniform without until they both can have one.

I figured you were supposed to have them, they come in handy to hold bungy cords. I can strap some amazing stuff on the seat and still get my behind planted ;D 3 big bags of composted cow manure makes a great backrest! ;D Pick up some 10X3/4 stainless steel sheet metal screws for the body panels, the chrome ones start to rust fast. 10X1/2 works for the screws around the leg shield, they really look great for 12 cents each. I'm curious about the emissions control system you got compared to the 2006 models, take some pics for us.

The local Ace Hardware has the screws in bulk bins. They look a lot better, and have a deeper recess so the driver gets a better grip. The clips are called U nuts, auto body shops stock them.

I'm thinking about buying a Sicilian 150 from motorxtremes.com. Can you guys give me an update on your experiences?
The price ($999) is extremely low and makes me wonder about the quality.
Another concern are parts availability and finding someone to service/work on this if I buy it.
Any comments?

My wife and I both have Sicilian 150's from Motorxtremes. So far we have been happy for the most part. We only have about 6 miles on them as we are waiting for the parts to upgrade with. We had 2 issues with my wifes 150 but Motorxtremes has been very supportive in their tech support dept and have sent the 2 replacement parts for my wifes scooter. The parts are the back rest behind the seat and the electric choke that won't close after warming up.
These scoots are basically Roketa Sicily 150's, but I think Motorxtremes replaces the battery with one that doesn't require filling and seems to hold a charge better.
The upgrades we are doing include replacing the fuel and vacuum lines with high quality Gates hoses. And, removing the vacuum petcock mounted to the gas tank with a basic straight valve on the tank and a shut-off spliced into the fuel line. The shut-off will be located under the little door inside the seat for easy access. HTH

Now, those are just downright pretty! Old-style, with modern colors. I like!
