Here is a picture of my Avanti Beta 150 scooter I purchased in December 2006. It has about 2600 miles on it and I rode it all winter long.

Hiya, cool scoot. Question, what is that little thing sticking out with the red plastic cap on it? BTW I love the fuel filter. Enjoy the ride! Tom

That's a manual fuel shut-off valve to replace the petcock. Thanks!

I wanted to update. First of all, I started a new job about three weeks ago and have cut my travel to work immensely. It is down to 3 miles each way and back roads, rather than the 11 miles and a 55mph two lane major. Within the past month I have made a couple of changes that have been very helpful. I have had a few problems with my air filter when getting caught in the rain, and the air filter getting soaked. I have been through two MRP LED Air Intakes, with the first one broken off by vibration and the second one vibrated off and lost on my way to my old job. I did a major search for a better replacement that will restrict the water from getting in the carburetor when in the rain. I decided to try out the Big Shot Air Intake, and it works great. I highly recommend this to anyone who also rides in the rain and does not use a stoke air filter. After installing it, I took a ride down one the major roads, and my back trunk vibrated open (unlocked) when going very fast downhill. The top blew off and was destroyed. But, when I started looking to replace it with the exact same one, I found this Binetto for $66 and my full face helmet fits. I first thought it might be too big, but it seems fit well and it is also removable. Here are some pictures: The Big Shot Air Intake The Binetto BN-T34 Removable Trunk I will have more pictures tomorrow, after recharging the camera batteries.

I noticed you got some hot looking chrome wheels.

Thanks warstein! I put the chrome wheels on about two months ago, and purchased them from Blacktopmotorsport.com for $235 and that included the shipping. About two weeks later, Dragon Custom put their's on sale for only $300 and I wish I had waited. But these are still nice and I appreciate the compliment.

I was able to take a few more pictures: Purchased a new exhaust two months ago and removed the restricter. Much deeper sound and better take off. Exhaust w/ restricter Exhaust without restricter Exhaust Restricter The Air Intake with the chrome air filter inside Air Intake Binetto T34

Is that a bolt missing just above the dipstick?

Yeah that sure looks like a bolt missing to me. It hold the rubber sub fender in place. Nice scooter, I like your mods.

Looks like another bolt has vibrated off. That seems to be too common when attached to plastic or rubber. Thanks for the compliment Earl!
