Hi Mike,
I'm in Milwaukie. Still no scooter, but I may have one soon. When the much-awaited day comes I will be joining the club.
Are we the only 2 Oregonians?

Hey Mike, I'm from The Dalles, Or. There's not very many scoots here so I get a lot of looks from the locals. Portland to Multnomah Falls? Are you taking the scenic highway? -Taylor BKM Xeidon 150cc

ya thats the only way thats safe that ride was last month this month we went to the aviation museum to see the spruce goose. we took 99w. next month we are going in the mt hood area. I live in Portland and there are thousands of scooters here so I dont get those looks what I do get is cars misjudge how fast I am going when they are pulling out of side streets. Mike

Yea, cars pulling out on me are pretty scary as well as impatient people passing me without leaving enough lane. Luckily, there's not a whole lot of traffic out here but deer seem to be the threat. The rides sound fun. Are there any 50cc scoots on the rides? My wife is just getting into riding and bought a 50cc scoot that tops at 40mph.

we are thinking of doing some slow rides for 50cc scooters if oregon riders have an interest in this let me know. also we do have a support vehicle on our rides in case of breakdown so if this has kept anyone from coming on rides we got it covered. Mike

I have a 150cc but wouldn't mind a leisurely drive. (I'm scared of really busy roads, although I do drive McLaughlin in Milwaukie a bit) Did you go to the Oaks Park Oktoberfest scooter thing on Sunday? We found it online Sunday morning & went from about 1-3pm. Lots of nice scooters. I loved the one with the tail!

I didnt go because I forgot the date oh well. the ride we do in october you would probably like we go to suavie island for the corn maze some people buy pumpkins. I heard grumblings that we may go to another maze out towards beavertown. either way it feels alot safer when you are riding in a group people tend to slow down when they see a group of 30 or more scooters going down the road. I will post the exact locations when I get the info. Mike
