We saw a lot of scooter enthusiasts at the English Beat show last week and had a great time. Talked to Eric at A1 Scooters about setting up another monthly ride. The 3rd Sunday of the each month will make it so everyone has a chance to to ride (and riding more never hurts!). I assume the regular 2nd Saturday ride will still be going. Now we have a choice for those who are busy on Saturdays. Reached 401 friends on MySpace. Whoopie! Please feel free to join, I can always use more friends. www.myspace.com/retroactivescooterclubI'll be doing a website update soon so there will be less load speed problems. www.retroactivescooterclub.comUPCOMING EVENT: I'm getting ready for a rollerderby show in March. If you've never seen a rollerderby match you're in for a treat. Cute girls trying to beat each other up. What more can you ask for? www.myspace.com/treasurevalleyrollergirls

We are planning a ride for Sunday, March 18th, 1:30 pm. Let's meet at Morris Hill Park at the corner of Roosevelt and Alpine. It's the unfinished park between the Morris Hill Cemetary and the railroad tracks. The destination unknown at this moment. If anyone has a place they'd like to go drop me a line. rob/k www.retroactivescooterclub.comwww.myspace.com/retroactivescooterclub.com

Wow, 3rd Sunday of the month is here and the weather is great so let's ride! We are recommending everyone bring cheese, and/or a finger food such as crackers, fruit, vegetables, chips, etc... and your own drink (but not wine, remember we're riding). We'll have a small cooler if your snack needs to stay cold. Here's the ride info: April 15, 2007 12:45 pm starting at Morris Hill Park in Boise The park is under construction and is behind the synagogue, near the railroad tracks at the corner of Roosevelt and Alpine. see map to cemetery: maps.yahoo.com/index.php#mvt=m&gid1=19859720&q1=317%20N.%20Latah,%20boise,%20id%2083706&trf=0&lon=-116.2287&lat=43.607525&mag=3 In case you are a planner, here is the route we plan on taking: begin at Morris Hill Park right on Roosevelt right on Emerald (becomes Americana then 15th Street) left on Hayes right on Harrison Blvd left on W Hill Road (jogs lft becomes Castle if you go straight, turn rt back on to Hill Rd) lft Edgewood Rd left E State St go across State St and hang a right on Riverside Dr left on E. Shore Drive to Reid W. Merrill Sr. Community Park If you haven't seen this video yet, we recommend it before you go on a group ride. It has basics of how to ride together safely. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7410513651875791175&q=motorcycle+safety+groupAnother site with more videos: www.msf-usa.orgHope to see you there! www.retroactivescooterclub.comwww.myspace.com/retroactivescooterclub
