;)For those of you following my expereinces with our new Lance 250 Touring....Lovely Indian summer weather here in NE Ohio. Temps in 70's and the leaves are beautiful. I was out both days this weekend enjoying the view. Went out for a short scoot around the neighborhood this evening just to enjoy it once more as the weather forecast is cooler and rainy the next few days. Anyway....I figured my mileage at about 45 a gallon (high test gas as recommended by Zhen) so far. Plus or minus a mile or two. This is mostly country highway at 50-60 mph. This bike is a lovely ride. I am glad we got it. OK, I won't go nuts on praising Lance this time. Ride safe Dawgs and thanks for all the advice and input. Tom

Yuor scoot is still in the break in period I think. Your milage should improve with the next few tank fulls, hopefully to 60 mpg or better.

Definately yes Gary. Only had the scoots since August. A few hundred miles on them. I am good with 40-45 mpg, but 60 would be even greater of course.

A 250 should do around 60 mpg or even a little better. Depends on how you use the throttle and the terrain in your area. My area is hilly, with few long, flat stretches of road. I also enjoy using the power of the engine. Even so, my CFMoto 250 scoot delivered 60-65 mpg after break in. Getting 40-45 is more like what you could expect from a larger engined motorcycle.

You are right Twister. I investigated this and I was wrong. Figured the gas tank capacity wrong. I would say the mpg is a little more like 60 mpg. Plus or minus a couple, my actual math came out to 62.3. Not bad.

Yup, you are right on at 62 mpg for a 250. While some might do better, depending on the terrain and how they drive, most 250s will fall around 60-65.

I have put a lot of local miles on the 250 the past couple of weeks and the mileage has been very good. Still up around 60-65 mpg. I am having so much fun I hate to have to put it away in a bit for the winter. Got my Sta-Bil and float charger ready however. Tom

The Lance line is made by Znen, one the better China cheap scoot imports. Mine runs very well and I love it. The wife has a GSR 150 that she loves as well. Yes, it is a China make. The Duke 250 runs around 1900-2100 depending when and where you buy. The main dealer is Scooters/Factory in California. A pretty decently reviewed business here on the boards. You'll find quite a bit of info here also on the Duke 250. Use the search feature and see what all us Dawgs have posted and shared. Tom
