8-)I have been squeezing in some saddle time on the 250 and am still riding smooth. A couple of updates: Will probably need to upgrade that Chinese battery. Had about a week off the bike and the battery was low. A few hours on a float charger took care of that. I was out for a leisure ride this evening and twice the bike just shut down. Started right back up. May have a loose wire. Did not appear to be a fuel loss or anything. Tricky, tricky that alarm system. Got to make sure to go through the shut off on that. Also has remote start. If you use that, I do just for fun sometimes, the alarm cycles on at shutdown so got to make sure it is disables. I am amazed at the ride, handling and speed uptake on this bike. We live in the county so I have it up in spurts easily to 65 with throttle to spare. At 55 it is a dream. It really is very cool. I am a new Dawg on our scoots, but I give the Lance 250 thumbs up as of now. Tom

Whenever I hear the name "Lance Duke," I can't help but think of john Wayne...

Sorry Gary, I'm far from it. But I do love my new scoot! It may improve my looks a little though.

Rockyhog: It's a started scoot for me and the wife got a GSR 150. It has worked for us. Had it out this afternoon for a nice cruise. If you are a newbie as we are, shop around and really read up on this site. For the China cheap imports, the Lance line is very good. I recommend them. Good luck. And a decent scoot didn't hurt my looks either...not that I've ever been called Duke by anyone. Tom
