Well as you can see from my signature, I am minus one scooter. A couple purchased my Roadrunner for his wife to have something to learn on for her motorcycle license. In Illinois it has to be a least a 250cc.
I am going to miss the RR. I guess I was one of the more fortunate Internet buyer as it was a great scoot for the money without a all the problems that seem to crop up. I was also a great learning tool and best of all it got me involved here with some of nicest, most helpful group of people I have found on any scooter forum. For that I owe my little Roadrunner a great deal of thanks. And also a great deal of thanks for all the input to my newbie questions from the beginning. not to mention the wealth of knowledge I have picked up since that time. Combined with the my mechanical background, I feel I could take on even a challenging Chinese scoot, if I had the time. Unfortunately that is the one thing thing I still don't have a lot of.
I have since become active on a couple of other sites (I know, I know) but I can tell you when I have a break to get on line, this is the very first place I go. Best Threads, best replies and the most fun of any of the sites and I will always be a Scoot Dawg first and foremost.
I have hooked the new owners up with the site and hope they too will become members. I know you will welcome them and offer even more help if needed.
