There was some recent questions about the belt size for a Roketa MC 54. Stormy correctly stated the correct size was 918 by 22.5. I recently had the opportunity to take the variator cover off my MC 54. This is what the writing on the belt said:
I believe Gates Powerlink belts are used a lot on snowmobiles. That might be a possible source. Or possibly a tractor supply company or industrial supply company.
Now for a question. When I took my variator cover off, I noticed a metal plate on the inside with a felt pad attached to it. Couldn't figure out what purpose it served. Anyone have any ideas?
