Is there any way to adapt or change a Aeolus RX 300 to be CA C.A.R.B. approved ? Thanks

Basically, no! To wear that badge, the importer must run each model through the testing procedure. The Linhai scoots are nice but no go this year for CA residents. Be interesting to see what '08 brings.

I'm sure Ollie is right; the CARB thing involves a rigorous testing procedure that an importer/distributor must go through. I don't *think* that there is a process for an indivdual like you or me to get a scoot certified.
The Aeolus caught my eye too as possible future upgrade. It seems a nice compromise between my current scoot and say a 400 cc Honda or Yamaha. But for the time being, I think those of us in CA are SOL as far as the Aeolus is concerned. If you have the bucks, you could go with a Kymco 250. They are CARB certified and plenty powerful.

First I thought this thread was going to list CARB approved scooters, it didn't but here are a few sources to check out if you are looking for one on the internet
Bandit – sales the Sym, Bandit and Qlink scooters
Of the models I checked, all the Bandit and Sym models are listed as full EPA, DOT and CARB approved, the Qlink motor cycles are not CARB compliant and only one of the Qlink scooters I looked at was CARB compliant.
Evo Sales – sales Road Runner scooters DOT and EPA but not CARB comlpliant
Scooters Georgia – no claim for street legal status made on the scooters I looked at
Valley Scooters – front page states that its Ricardo line is CARB compliant, when you check the Ricardo line it further states the 250cc model is not compliant. Looking at the TANK section here states the Tanks scooters are also complaint with CARB (including the 250cc). As an added feature they state that they will register the scooter for you so when you get it you don’t have to go to the DMV.
X-Treme power sports – has a Bravo line that does have a EPA/DOT/CARB approved claim for a 150cc and a 250cc, also a Lance line with some CARB approved scooters
XXX Motorsports - sales the Lance line shows five models that are listed as CARB compliant, 4 -150cc model, 1 – 250cc model
