I have a road runner 250 with under 300 miles, seems like theres always a problem Scooter is turning over.... had a loud back-fire... and now will not start ! Any ideas ? frustrated... mark

Sorry you are having trouble, not much I can help with, but back-fire is unburned fuel getting ignited AFTER it leaves the combustion chamber, as in the exhaust system, with all the catalytic garbage now put on things, it is more common than ever. You might want to examine that part of the system, checking for the vacuum hoses function as well, if you are not getting vacuum (air) sucked in, and getting fuel, it won't fire, but COULD have ignition in the exhaust system...
