Hi all. Well, I did it. The scooter would not charge the battery. I had to use an external charger every night. The battery would last for about 2 days, and go below 11.6 volts. Then the scooter would not start. The problem turned out to be a spade terminal lug in the molex connector for the resistor/heatsink. It was pushed back, and was not making contact. I was able to remove the resistor/heatsink for testing without having to remove any panels at all.All you need to remove it is is a 10mm wrench. It should read about 673 ohms in one direction. I also found that same kind of a problem with the fuse that controls the radiator fan. The fuse block connectors were pushed back. Needless to say, I am a very happy camper. I hope all this helps someone else.

na1x; Congratulations! Good diagnostic work. I have seen the same thing as well as lugs bent over. Metal quality is poor and they bend easily.
