Has anyone used one of these oil coolers? If so do you know if your engine runs cooler. I was thinking of purchasing one. Does anyone have any experience with one. Is it worth 44.00??
Do these things really extend engine life?

Oil coolers are more useful on air cooled engines.

Thanks for the advice Warstein! I think I am going to try one on my 150cc air cooled bike. I will leave the 250 water cooled along!

It'll add oil to the system and lubricated parts will run cooler. It would best benifit people that run say 150cc scoots on long hauls trips holding a 50+mph average speed.

Well, in looking at how they hook up that thing. I do not see if cooling anything except the crankcase oil mist maybe. A better oil cooler is the PFS Performance Oil Cooler www.partsforscooters.com/169-11?category=1 Now the PFS oil cooler really does cool the oil. But with winter coming on, you won't need one unless you are racing or like to run WOT all the time.
