jd300; Body is a Honda clone, like the Roketa MC-54. Lots of misinformation in the ad. At 257 cc, it is not 22 HP, more like 18 HP. The 22 HP version of the engine is only (AFAIK) in the Linhai 300(SuperStrada/Aeolus/Mainstreet). It will NOT do 85 mph, maybe 70-75. It will NOT get 120 mpg (WAY over inflated), maybe 60+ mpg. Not absolutely certain but I think the Linhai 257 cc engine/drive train only comes with 12" tires - front 110/90x12, rear 130/70x12. Not a problem as they are slightly higher profile tires than the ones used on scoots with 13' rims, just incorrectly listed.
Don't know anything about this "Dealer" but I would be very suspicious. They don't even know the correct specs for their product and/or don't care about misrepresenting their product. Call John Dikov at Valley Scooters. (http://scootersus.com/index.html) He is a known dealer with a good reputation and can sell you the same scoot with either a CFMoto 244 cc engine or the Linhai 257 cc engine and FOR LESS MONEY!

The scooter is probably fine, but don't send them any money until you check their Better Business Bureau report. I know I did and went somewhere else!

jd300; Perhaps he said it was a "Chuanl" bike. "Chuanl" scoots are made by Taizhou Chuanl Motorcycle Manufacturing Co. in China. My first two Roketa scoots (50 & 150 cc) were made by Chuanl and were decent scoots. Chuanl scoots have also been sold here under the name of "Longbo" and probably many other made up "Brand" names. Have never seen any of their larger scoots so I can't comment on them. Like I said in my previous post, he has a lot of the specs wrong. Why persist when there are other dealers here that are highly recommended?
