:-[I am having an intriguing problem on my new Lance 250, the mirros are not aimed well. I have a hard time adjusting them so that I can see behind myself off the shoulder. I usually keep seing the ground behind me! Lot's of frustration trying to get them angled right and keeping them there. Also the mounts keep loosening up so the mirror arms keep moving after a while. Although the Lance line is fairly new here (a Zhen line), has anyone who has a Lance experienced the same? I might add that my wife has a Lance GSR 150 and has no mirror problems at all. Thanks.

Hello to newc77, I had a similar problem with my cc mirrors. (cc is for cheap c--p) They are very light weight and would not stay in position. I plan to get better ones. In the mean time I sat on the scoot and adjusted them where I wanted them to be. I then very carefully took them off and applied super glue to the ball mount in the mirror head. left over night. Re-installed with a little lok-tight on the threads. So far they have been working very well with no movement.

newc77,
I have a Roadrunner 250 which the same body style as the Lance. The right hand mirror being over the front brake reservoir is held in a position to for forward to be able to aim for the proper sight line. I ground a small amount of plastic off the back and carefully ground the spacer to an angle to allow the mirror to tip back further. You may have to repeat the process on the left side too. Once this done it should solve your problem of being able to aim them where you need them.
To keep them in place make sure the mounting screw are tight. I stuffed foam in behind the bottom edge of the mirror to hold it up. I have also read that someone used silicone to glue the lens in place.

NEWC77- I had the same problem with my ROADSTER 250 I removed the mirrors pried off the backs [gently] loosened the screws on the ball sockets, pulled the arm off the mirror I then sanded the paint off the balls and roughed it up with rough sandpaper, put it all back together leaving the backs off. Adjust the mirrors then tighten the screws put in a piece of foam to eliminate the rattles snap the backs on and your ready to ''KEEP ON SCOOTIN''
