I have an NST scooter with a 244cc engine and a CVT, I want to change oil in the gear box but I cannot find the drain or fill plugs. On another website I read that the fill and drain plugs are near the belt cover . The drain on the lower right and the fill on the upper left side. I pulled the lower plug and it is dry. please advise what I need to do to change the gear oil or lube it.
Scootersfactory has not been much help.

I have a Viva 250 which I believe is identical to your NST. You'll find several good posts on changing the gear oil. Just be careful not to overfill the gearbox. you'll get oil on the CVT belt and make a big mess (I know first hand!). Measure how much oil comes out, and then put that amount back in, or a little more till the fill hole just overflows.

I just purchased a RoadRunner 250cc from evosales.com, they were very nice and pretty patient as I called many times to check the status of my scooter during shipping. The only problem i've had with them is its hard to get ahold of them a lot of the time. Anyway, got my scooter exactly 9 days after ordering, it came in a metal crate with cardboard over it, it was pretty well protected, had very minimal scratches and no damage from shipping.
The assembly took lots longer than anticipated, but got it done with pretty much no problems. Instructions STINK!! Screws for the windshield are already in position in bike, not packaged, must remove Vshaped cover to attach windshield. Gas in the carborator a MUST, it wont even consider starting until you put 2-3 oz of gas in carb, be sure to replace cap before starting. Replaced coolant, not an easy job, brass cap IS SPRING LOADED! Total assembly time 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Got it running and it runs great. There is some rattling in the windshield area when it idle's but quits after you start moving. Hopefully this is an easy fix.
If anyone has this scooter or knows anything about them, please let me know.
