Today I had to recharge the battery in my Roketa MC-54. When I was putting it back in the battery box, I kept thinking that something was missing. Then it dawned on me - the battery hold down strap was missing. I consulted the parts list on Bike Bandit and sure enough there it was. Do any of you with an MC-54 have a missing battery hold down strap? If so, was your scoot missing the part when you received it? I think somebody owes me a strap!

I got my version in June, and I don't remember a strap present. Mine has a cover that effectively keeps the battery from jumping around.

Tom, Yes and no. yes, I went and looked and no, I have no battery strap on my MC 54. That's the way it came. Although, after my leaking battery fiasco, I put an absorbant pad in the box. The battery is a pretty tight fit and with the full cover I don't think a strap is necessary.
