My second problem, which seems more serious then my WOT fuel problem, is the front end forks or shocks. When I hit a bump in the road or rough road ( plenty in new York city ) the Race 250 is "out of control" I can hardly hold on, to the point where it is quite dangerous ! The nose hits the fender sometimes ! I've owned a few Chinese scoots, and have never experienced such bad handling..... I bought upgraded shocks for the back; however this has not helped the front steering issue. I think this scooter has a lot of weight on the front end, which contributes to this problem. Any ideas to an upgrade .... or any other idea... maybe a larger tire ? Any ideas would be helpful.... It makes city driving almost impossibe... something isn't right thanks mark

You need to determine if you are blowing thru the available stroke or the if the fork's damping is too stiff. The correction is very different between the two.
Do you weigh a lot. You could probably use stiffer fork springs if you do. I have no idea if any springs are available or not but they could be needed.

I'm light, 160 lbs... the problem seems to be the same with me or 'two up" on the bike. Is there a market for higher quality front forks? anyone know?

Offhand, I'd say they either didn't put oil in the forks at assembly or it has been lost, but you should notice a leak if it did. I bet if you open them you will find they are empty because mine certainly doesn't have that problem at all and handles quite well.
