so far a nice scooter. had to have a few bugs worked out by a mechanic but so much more bike than my 150. i still have a few buzzing noises in my dash but thinking that may be par for the course.. my speedometer is accurate. it goes 60 mph at 5000 rpm. taking it easy so far for break in purposes. i am not use to a windshield. What a difference.. not all good.. not sure if its good at all.. my helmet is soooo noisy and i get blown around by wind all the time.. guess i'll get used to it..of course i am going faster than my 150 will go, but its almost comforting to drive the 150 even though it will do only 50 mph. i wish there was a way to lessen the affect of the windshield without removing it. the wind howls so.. also the windshield seems to be a source of buzzing noise as well.. but all in all it seems to be a nice machine.

Mikey, Congrats on the new scoot. I too have the MC 54 and it is a really nice ride. When you have time you should check all of you panels and fasteners. Most of the buzzing went away after I checked and tightened mine. For the wind noise I wear a pair of ear plugs that don't prevent hearing too much but really cut down on that problem. Makes riding a real joy. Good luck with the new scoot.

You could also check out adding some little adjustable wind deflectors to the sides and/or top of the windshield. You can get them at motorcycle shops that sell accessories for Harleys and Goldwings. If you play around with them you can often create a nice little bubble of tranquility. I use to have a motorcycle with a windshield that caused so much buffeting it would make my vision blur at 90.

Hello, Just received my Roketa MC-54, uncrated it, put on the mirrors and windshield, put together the battery, and gas, and it started and rides well,...for about 10-11 minutes and then without warning shuts down,...it then takes 2-3 hours to be able to start it again. It does'nt matter if I ride it for those 10-11 minutes or I just let it run in the driveway for that amount of time,...it shuts down and then takes 2-3 hours to be able to start it again,...any suggestions? Thanks.encuentrobeach1

Check for gas cap venting. When it dies remove the gas cap and see if it starts. If so you have a venting problem. Somebody here can help you find the vent. It might be heat related. This could be vapor lock or a coil that fails when it gets too hot.
