They light up ... but do not flash. What do i need to replace. Its on my Race 250 with 100 miles on it so far.

First check you fuses, blown or loose. The signal switcher is probably on another fuse line, otherwise the signal switcher is identical to those used in autos with the same resistance and can be bought from NAPA parts etc.

And when you check the fuses, be sure to check the underside of the fuse box to make sure all of the connectors are actually making contact. I've had a couple of connectors push out the bottom of the box. Gary

If it lights but doesn't flash, its not the fuse, most likely its the flasher. Basically the flasher relay works by using the electricity to heat a small piece of metal connecting the terminals. When it gets hot enough, it moves away, breaking the connection. When it cools, it reconnects, doing this over and over, hence the flashing. Most likely you've either a flasher with too heavy a rating, or its actually defective. Light bulbs can also be an issue (in a car, ifn you use say a 2057 bulb instead of a 1157 it will effect the speed of your turn signal), but changing the flasher is easier.
