How do you reset it back to green on an 06 CFMOTO Fashion 250. I changed the oil and its still red. I changed it at 1,042 miles and the manual says that every 1000 kilometers it will turn red again. My scoot measures everything in MPH and the manual does not show how to reset it. Thanks

Right below the odometer there should be a littlte slot. Push the key in there and it should reset.

How about for my People 250? The slot is red and it won't go back to normal. I've tried pushing the key in and every which way in the ignition, but to no avail...

Ashley There is a link to a service manual for your scooter. scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=200cc&action=display&thread=1184097159The last guy on your previous question on this subject says you push the key in the slot on the lower part of the dash. It may have a rubber flap in there to keep water out. When you push the key in the slot you should feel it hit a button and when you push the button it should return to blue or green.I hope this helps.

Yeah I started a topic about this about a month ago, and the best advice I heard was to push the key a certain way inside the ignition. But after reading this advice today about the slot below the speedometer, I put my key inside and it reset it. It worked! I didn't even realize that this is what that slot was for, I feel stupid. But I'm thankful for the help!

I am just happy that we could resolve this problem. It seemed that it shouldn't have taken this long to get done. I just get a good feeling when I help someone and it works.
