Can any one help, I have a MC-54 and I looked up from my house to my work on mapquest and it was 3.2 miles. When I rode my scooter to work the scooter said 3.6 miles. Is the odometer in miles or kilometers? Because if it was kilometers it would have been higher then 3.6. Thanks

It appears that your odometer is in miles. 3.2 miles translates to 5.184 km using 1.62 km per mile. The difference between 3.2 and 3.6 is only 4/10ths of a mile that can be related to tire pressure or Chinese manufacturing defect, then again I know of audi's that are registering 3 miles faster on the speedo than on the GPS.

Hello Lubejob66: I would check the distance with a GPS or a car with a known good odometer. I have seen the mapping software low by 10% in trips I have taken. Bryce

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking it had to be a defect or mapquest off a little. Everyone told me the odometer was kilometers, but the way it has been reading I thought it had to be miles. Thanks again

I think you are right lubejob. I have a road from my garage to the stop sign that is 2.9 miles in my car. My MC 54 showed it to be 3.2 miles. Slight difference but not enough to equate to kilometers.
