Well, I made the leap and it sure feels good! It turns out it was a complete u-turn from the direction I was going too. I was all set to order a Pegasus from my local dealer when he informed me he would have some in around mid July. OK, no problem.
Thing is, I ride my bicycle past a Suzuki dealer every day. Fortunately, last week, I decided to venture in to the showroom. There I had my first introduction to a Burgman They had a left over 2006 Burgman 400 Type S. Georgous. I'll admit it, I fell in love! It was also twice the money though. But they finance!!! Soooo...
Now I own it
Can't ride it till 9/11 though. That is the day I get my DL back from the State of Florida. What, you think I like to ride a bicycle past a Suzuki shop everyday? He!! no. I can't wait to twist & go!
But, never the less, I will wait till I'm legit to hit the tarmac. In the meantime, I will continue my introduction to Scootering and learn everything I can to increase my chances of survival once I become a full time scooter commuter. I would like to complete a Safety course by then, as it makes getting my endorsement easier here in Florida. Don't worry though, even though this is my first scoot, I got my first dirt bike at 11 years old, and hopefully, its like riding a bike. I am up for the challange and look forward to seeing some of you on my upcoming travels.
Thankx to everyone on this site who helped me through the purchase process. You have been extremely helpful and I am in your debt. I am Sincerely yours, _________________ SiestaRandy New 2006 Burgman 400 Type S CHEERS!

Siestarandy; Congratulations! What a great scoot. I have drooled over a Bergman at my local Suzuki dealer. You might be able to sneak in a few short, local rides around the block.
