Well, after many weeks waiting, my new scooter is finally here. Not at my house but at the trucking dock. LOL. I have been waiting for it for 2 weeks and when it finally arrives I dont get the message from the trucking company til 5PM today and when I call them they said I would have to wait til Monday. I am going fishing Monday morning and will have to cut my day short because they said it was going to be delivered between 3-5PM on Monday. I ordered a Roketta MC-54 from allnewsports.com, I charged my digital camera up and well take many pictures of the fish, I mean the scooter when it comes in and post them, hopefully it isnt too damaged when it arrives.

Not sure what the engine is, I think it has the 244 CF MOTO engine in it, but you guys will have to tell me, how I can tell, once it gets here on Monday. Iam stripping all of the body panels off as soon as it gets here and taking them to a custom colors paint shop and having the scooter painted the same colors of my business, yellow and brown. This way it will give me a chance to check everything over before I take it out on the road. ;D

Sounds like a tax write off to me! ;D If the exhaust pipe leading to the muffler comes down from under the seat it's a 244 CF Moto who's cylinder is upright and leaned back over the rear tire. If the exhaust pipe comes in from under the lower part of the bike it's a LinHai engine which lays down flat vs upright. CF Moto Different style bike but still a CF Moto LinHai

How different are the motors in quality? Is it something like the old Mopar slant 6 motor that was hard to kill as opposed to a straight 6?

The CFMoto engine is a Honda clone and of good quality. The Linhai motor is a Yamaha clone and of good quality. The CFMoto engine has been here in the U.S. for a little over a year in scoots. The Linhai engine was available in scoots here last year but those scoots were usually priced significantly above CFMoto powered scoots and did not sell well. Stan Jessup likes the Linhai better for it's ease of service but, even there, the difference seems slight. Stan has one scoot with each type of engine.
