Phil,
I'll be very curious to hear about your experience. Take/post lots of pics of your uncrating/assembly experience!
Also, did you order the MC-54 or MC-64? On Valley Scooters site I only see the MC-54? What did you end up paying for it?
Thanks!
-Philip

I didn't know there was an MC-64. I ordered an MC-54. According to the Roketa website, there is also an MC-54 250B model, which is virtually the same. I'm not clear on which model I'm getting. John at Valley is running a sale on his black MC-54s right now for $1999. This is what I ordered. I later tried to change my order to a full priced Linhai version, but I was too late. The bike has already shipped. Bummer!! At any rate, as of today, John is still offering his leftover Black MC-54s on sale for $1999. The on-sale bikes will probably contain the 244cc CF Moto engine. Or if you want, you can pay full price ($2199) for the new version, which will probably contain the Linhai engine. John has been very responsive to my phone calls and emails, and he has very favorable reviews from this website. He is also known to have a brick and mortar warehouse from which I think he ships most of his bikes, which is an advantage.
At any rate, my bike will be delivered to my mechanic so he can do a prep on the bike. I'm going to try to be there to monitor the delivery, if possible. I will take as many pics as I can, time permitting. I hope to start a new thread where I'll log everything that occurs from A-Z. Hopefully I'll have time to document all issues on this website, probably will start a new thread for this.
That's it for now. Phil

I wouldn't fret the difference in engines. Both the CFMoto 244 cc and Linhai/Yamaha 257 cc are good engines. My Bali 250 has been great this past year.

Good to know, Scooterollie. I have tracking, and the bike arrives Thursday. I ordered the bike last Thursday late afternoon. Very fast shipment by Valley.

I also have that engine. Only a little over 500km but no problems and I am very happy with performance.

That's great. Sounds like I shouldn't freak out about it. Can't wait until Thursday to see the bike.
