coolant in race 250, what kind? how full?

hi,my 250 race roadrunner arrived today with leaky blue coolant all over.... Where or how much is needed in the reservoir? There is no full line. Also what king of fluid do I need to buy ?
Other then that, the scoot looks great !

Welcome to the "Dawg Pound"!

I have been recommending Zerex G-05 to folks. It has a special formulation that is low acid and will not damage internal aluminum cooling system parts. Pep Boys and Auto Zone carry it by the gallon. Do a 50/50 mix. Don't really know the amount as I just pour it in the radiator fill until it doesn't need more. Won't be more that 1-2 quarts. Do a search for cooling system info here on the forum. Check out Stan Jessup's website for a good source of parts and info on the 250 scoots:
