Hi I've changed all my gas lines in my Tank 250 DE Touring. I changed all the vacuum lines too but this one line is a mystery..just a little U shapred line in and out of the carb it seems. Anyone know if this is vacuum?? Thanks Jim

Jim (livewire) sent us a pic (very tough to get thru though) and we checked out the vacuum line that he was askin about... and it's the black one from the vacuum switch to the side of the carburetor. We're not really sure how all of this 'plays together'... but basically, vacuum from the intake manifold causes the switch (end of blue line) to open and allow air from under the 'can' to move from one side of the carb to the other. It honestly seems like it's just opening one port in a specific chamber to allow air into the same chamber thru another port... But in moving air around from various points on the carburetor, many of these ports are tied into the idle and pilot jets in some way... so we figure they are pretty much required...
