I really like the new Aprilia Sport City 250. I have been riding a Honda Elite 250 for the last 7 years but at 46,000 miles it is on its last leg. And since Honda will not continue to make parts , I feel it is time for a new scooter.
I like what the Sport City 250 brings to the table. 15 inch rims, large windshield and available lap apron. It seems to be built for commuting which would be its function in my stable.
Here is the problem. I have not heard good things about Aprilia in general. I read it is hard to get parts and the reliability of their scooters is not up to Japanese standards. Can someone out there help me to feel good about Aprilia, because on paper, this scooter is exactly what I am looking for.
