Hey guys, I own a JmStar 150cc scooter..I am loving it but am regretting not getting a bike with more power. I would like to be able to use the highway freely. Since I have this bike already ....I am thinking of swapping in a 250cc. Has anyone else done this? Just from my little research it seems it would be relatively straighforward and easy swap. Just in case I have access to a machine shop : ) The tough thing is gonna be to find a cheap used 250 motor..Anyone have ideas for where to look? I want to get things in line and ready because if it happens I would like to get started right as winter sets in so I can be ready for next spring.

Your going from air-cooled to liquid so you have that to content with. Call or E-mail Jim from Bandit-Motorsports.. he is doing this to one of his 150 models and might be able to tell you what you are up against.

Hey Royzevus let me (us know) what you find.. I found someone local (OK) who sells 150cc at 300 bucks.. But I have thought about stringing a 250cc in there.. Missing power.. I did not ask if the local shops sell 250cc's but will ask when I stop by this weekend to see their stuff.
Looking to exchange the motor out.. (have removed) the Primo 150cc engine, which blow the rod out the case.. So yes; I do need a motor. Primo and china Comp. said it was my fault.. so they did not honor their 24 month warranty on the engine/trans. Mothers...
