On my P250, there is a service light on the dash...Does this light come on at certain mileage to recommend service? Or is this similar to a check engine light in cars? Also, when and if it comes on, how do you turn it off?

I was hoping that someone more familiar with your Kymco would respond. It is probably a maintenance warning based on mileage. I don't know how to reset it. If you have the owners manual it should be in there. At least now you will move up and get a new shot at an informative answer. ;D

Lol thanks. My last post of finding replacement parts for Kymcos is dead too. I guess there's under a handful of people in here familiar with them...Oh well...I appreciate anything at all!

Here is how it works on my Burgman. It may be similar. Turn off ignition switch. Push "adjust" button and turn on ignition switch. Wait 2 seconds until indicator blinks and goes off.
I don't know how you would figure this out without a manual. You could try PMing a Kymco owning member.

On the people 250 model the light you are referring to is a mileage minder for changing your oil. Actually it is a blue square that flips over to a red square when it is time to change the oil. Reset is done by inserting the key in the slot below the instruments, push straight in till the square turns blue and it is reset. Any other questions about the people 250, I will help if I can.
