Over the weekend I installed a turn signal buzzer on my Viva 250. I'm quite happy that I'll no longer be going down the street looking like a doofus with my turn signals on.... I got the buzzer from Stan Jessup's oregon vintage site www.oregonvintage.com. The buzzer makes a nice loud clicking sound when the turn signals are on. It can be heard even at freeway speeds. Installation is quite easy - just three wires to connect. Gary

Neat idea, I could use one of those. Looks like they're on back order for now. This web store has lots of Chinese scooter parts. I'll have to add it to my list of bookmarks.

Gary, Did you get your charging issue resolved?

I can second the recommendation of the turn signal buzzer - actually more of a beeper. Have had one of Stan's beepers installed since August last year. It does help! To reduce the level of sound some, I put electrical tape partially over one of the sound vents. Not saying the beeper is excessively loud, just to reduce the sound level to that which i desired.

Roketa - yes Stan's site is terrific. Not only for parts, but also lots of good info on scooter maintenance, upgrades, etc.
12string - no, no luck on the charging issue yet. I haven't been chasing it too hard lately. I bought a good Yuasa battery and take along the OEM battery and a pair of jumper cables as a backup. That's been getting me by.

They have shipped me two different types, and it sounds like you have the one that does beep. Usually, they send me the type that click, and I think they are less intrusive, but still you are easily able to hear them without sounding like a backup alarm. I should have mor in stock by next week. Stan I can second the recommendation of the turn signal buzzer - actually more of a beeper. Have had one of Stan's beepers installed since August last year.
