Just went by my local 76 station and noticed premium was at $3.59 a gallon. Thats just gas - self serve, no car wash, free mugs, or S&H green stamps. Ouch. Sure makes me feel better about my scooter purchase last year. Only trouble is, my son is now riding the Scoot to school, so now I'm driving my gas-guzzling SUV to work. Its only about 16 miles round trip, but that's about a gallon and a half of fuel ...
So I'm in the market for another scoot. I'd like to upgrade from the 150 to a 250. Really want the Roadrunner Race 250, but they are not CARB certified yet. So, I'm thinking about buying the absolute cheapest 150 out there, until the Roadrunner 250s are certified.
Any thoughts on a super cheap 150? Thanks!

I got my 150 Wildfire Scooter from www.wildfiremotors.com$1000 was the price. I gotta say that their also have all the stock parts you could ever want for the scooter, and they ship them pretty darn quick. I usually get my parts in about 2-3 days. I purchased mine new from them on Ebay believe it or not. You may be able to get a used one for half that price used. So far I am happy with the quality of the scooter, and I have 2022 Miles on mine -ksu

Thanks KSU. I wound up getting a Viva 250 tourer for $1800 delivered. Seems like a darn good scoot for the money. See my post on it for details and photos. Gary

I'm hearing and reading great things about Baron and Bandit. So much so that I'll be purchasing my Bandit very shortly.

The Union 76 station just raised their price for premium to $3.749 per gallon. Looks like $4.00 per gallon isn't too far away.
This station is consistently 20 cents or so per gallon higher than all the rest in my neighborhood. But remarkably, people still buy gas there.
Scoot on!

I remember several years ago when prices were approaching 2.00 and everyone was in a panic. Illinois suspended the state fuel tax for a year. I haven't heard anything about the state wanting to lose it's cut these days.
