My 75 year old bones are taking a beating on this supposedly soft riding machine. The adjustment on the rear shocks id at the shortest setting. Is that supposed to be the softest ride or the hardest?
The hardest I hope!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The adjuster should look kinda like a set of stairs. If adjusted to the bottom of the stairs it's softest, top of the stairs hardest, the more compressed the spring by adjustment the harder the ride. The taller the scooter sits by adjustment the harder the ride. Hope one of those descriptions helps you figure out where your adjuster is set. And I hope it's not the softest! Can't beat up your experienced bones... that's just uncool!

Thanks Aaron Unfortunetly it was set at the softest ride. I guess I better find some smooth roads, in short supply around here.

Make sure the rear tire isn't over inflated, Consider an air pillow type seat cushion..PM Ddillon he has one and loves it. Also if the scoot is very new it will soften up as the springs wear in. That doesn't work save your dimes and get a Machine with at least 16 inch wheels....they tend to be less harsh with bumps and ruts. Hope you can sort it out.

Your Bali is the same body as my Baron 250-PM but probably has a 150cc GY6 engine. Do you fill your tires to the pressure on the side of the tire or in the somewhat bogus manual? Usually, that is 35 psi. That's the MAXIMUM pressure for that tire. I weigh 180 pounds and run my front at 26 psi and the rear at 28 psi. Much better ride.

Hi everyone,
Is there a special type of tool to loosen up the shock to adjust. to add height to the seat.
Thanks, Linda

The question was: how do I like The Rocketa Bali 250?
I got the scoot last October.
The packaging was almost totally destroyed when it arrived. But the scoot was OK even though it had broken loose at the left handlebar attachment.
I put it together and it started right up. Battery acid was put in the battery and it was OK right from the start.....no charging necessary. Since then......no battery problems.
There have been no problems whatsoever.
I changed the oil and the gear oil immediately. The original oil and gear oil looked and smelled OK but I changed em anyway. It still has original brake fluid and coolant in it. So far, no problems with either.
I have adjusted nothing. It starts immediately, in all kinds of conditions, and runs very smooth. It will go a lot faster than I will.
There are serious mountains here and I have found no place where it won't accelerate uphill.
I bought a new Kevlar belt but haven't put it on yet, though I probably will before setting out on my x-country trip this summer.

I bought a new Kevlar belt but haven't put it on yet, though I probably will before setting out on my x-country trip this summer. It seems you've had exceptional reliability from your scoot. Maybe this is a sign that Roketa is improving? I have no opinion on them since I've never owned one. A cross-country trip on yours could squelch some of the negativity some posess. You might want to check out the following link. It will show you how to change that belt quickly without tools in a video (you may already know how). scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi?board=tipsandtricks&action=display&thread=1180134752
