While Oregon vintage has 8mm thread mirrors that can be used on the Bali (or Tank), the ones I like have said "back ordered" for some time.
I did some searching on the INTERNET and found that Dennis Kirk (www.denniskirk.com) sells a universal round mirror that has an 8mm thread with a 10mm adapter included for use on 10mm setups (most motorcycles). I just received two of them today and they fit fine. A vast improvement over the stock mirrors. The only difficulty I had was the jam nut which sits just below the plastic fairing so it was a bit of a pain to tighten using the wrong size wrench (it was handy and I was in a hurry to see if they would fit). I'll probably trim the fairing a bit to allow room for an open end wrench later.
The threads are right hand and the one mirror fits both sides.

The mirror is made by EMGO and the EMGO part number is 20-30650.
Dennis Kirk service was good and they sent a tracking number so I could watch the mirrors as they crossed the U.S. They have a lot of EMGO mirrors and there may be others with 8mm threads.
Dimensions: 3 3/4" diameter on a 7 inch stem, offset 6 1/4 inches.
I would post a picture of the mirror but the Dennis Kirk site is not responding well tonight.
