I took my Wussi (Baron?) out on a major highway today for the first time. It will definitely reach 100 Chinometers per Hour (indicated), but it is not a secure feeling ride at that speed. There is a LOT of vibration in the front end. AT 90 it is much more tolerable and at 80 its is as happy as a pig in slop. It sure ain't no Burgman, but I bought it for running around town at 35-45 mph. For that it appears to be perfect.
I ordered saddlebags and a rear-seat bag (Nelson-Rigg from MAWOnline) for it. With those and my trunk, I should be able to carry a weeks worth of groceries with no problem.
Once warmed up, the temperature gauge stays at about 2/3 to 3/4 max. all of the time, but it has shown no indications that it is actually overheating so I assume that the temp gauge is about as accurate as the fuel gauge (always reads FULL). ;D

woodlark; Your temp. gauge seems OK. About where Stan Jessup's reads. Stan plans to reset the temp. gauge by removing and replacing the needle so at operating temp. it reads in the middle. I wonder if an inline pot. could be installed between the sensor on the engine and the gauge? Could your gas gauge sender unit be sticking inside the tank?

You can fix a lot of your front end vibration by getting your tire & wheel combos balanced. I found an ATV store/shop that could do it for me. I carried in the wheels after removing them myself instead of paying to have the shop remove them. I think I paid $10 or $12 each.
My scoot was much smoother after balancing.

On the Roketta Bali-250 -ditto on the gas guage. it is full until the last cup or two of gas. I looked at the shap of the tank and looked at where the sensor is placed and yep that is what the senser would 'see' due to the shape of the tank and the low positioning of the gas level senser.
