They have the Linhai Yamaha 250 engine. I can't make pronouncement yet that it's going to happen, but the Pres. of Diamo sent me an email suggesting that he wants to send one and asked for my address just last Monday. I had recent conversation with Joel at MRP and he has rec'vd one from Diamo and has come up with performance parts for it. Joel seems to think that Diamo quality continues to improve.

That's good news Lee my dealer has ordered several and can't get a commitment date on them!

Dawg, which DIamo 250 is he offering you? according to the DIamo website, there's 3 250s (the Velux convertible, the Fury, and the Turista 260).
the Velux covertible is being offered in 250cc now, which I think makes it alot more appealing. for some of us suburban types, 150cc is just too dinky. ;-)

They also have a 250cc version of the Tracer on their site which would fly! Imagine any of the similar style 150cc scooters with a 250cc motor in it

So..is the Strada rx300 the original or the Diamo? Seems perfect for the wife and I. Any clues on best deals available?
