Welcome to the Pound johnnyscoots. I'm not as familiar with the Bergie and found your comments on the hitting of expansion joints at higher speeds. Would you say that the suspension is a little too tight? I think the suspension was set up for my pop. He weighs a little north of 210 lbs, and I go about 158 lbs...

The suspension is on the stiff side. It has a single rear shock mounted horizontally. The preload is adjusted by a knob on the side. The speed it is capable of probably requires a stiffer suspension.

OK the reason the earlier pics don't work for you was this thread was started back in June and Lee no longer pays for image hosting on the forum. That took place last year before Christmas. Now you have to host your own photos on Photobucket or similar. So thats why there are posts commenting on the pictures because we saw them back in June. Just keep the dates in mind when posts occur.. new folks may have gone into the archives and brought new info to an old topic. I've done it myself.
It has been suggested that we go through and delete old threads. They serve as an archive and more than once I have gone back and searched for something we talked about back in the day.

Thanks Aaron. I knew about the image hosting change but missed the fact that the email with the images was back before the change. Gotta remember to check the details before complaining!

That error message is due to the fact that this forum no longer supports the attachment feature. It just got too costly and it is too easy to attach pictures now via an image hosting site (see instructions in the Introduction Board). I'm afraid that pictures posted via that feature in the earlier days of the forum are gone.

The images just need to be hosted elsewhere.

The Burg 400 can do 95mph. I have a friend with one and he's has had it up there with GPS verification. I have a 250 now... but one day I will get the 400. I dont know why I'd want more than 400ccs on a scooter. I'm quite happy with 250, but would like a little more top end for safer interstate riding. I dont like interstates, but want the option. The 75-80 mph top end wide-open is a little too slow when competing with semi trucks.

I think they ran out of hard drive space memory on the web server. Someone will have to go in a clean it up. Actually pics ought to be stored off site at a storage site like PhotoBucket or your own personal web site. Then it wouldn't impact on ScootDawg's webserver memory any.
