I'd like to give a thumbs up to Mike and Matt Land of Hy Pro Scooters in Pittsburg, PA. We recently concluded a deal on one of his "left over" Daelim S2-250 Scooters and it went reasonably well. There were some minor issues in getting the scooter shipped from PA to OK and Mother Nature had something to say in the deal, but for the most part, our relationship has been outstanding!
I haven't had the opportunity to deal with warranty issues and hopefully, I won't, but if this should happen, I will update the post with the information as it comes across.
Hy Pro is a family owned and operated business. Mike and matt are very enthusiastic about scooters and try to work with their customers in every way they can. They are a Brick and Mortar business and don't normally ship scooters outside their business area, but will work with a customer from out of town. Our communication during the transaction was great, the scooter was paid off in two chunks and once the final payment was received the scooter was set up for shipment.
Unfortunately, the snow storm stopped the first attempt at shipment, then the shipping company changed their quote increasing the dollar amount times 2! Found another shipping company anf inally got the scooter shipped about 3 weeks later than initially thought.
However, it was pretty cold here in OK, so that wasn't really a show stopper. I kept contact with Mike through out the process and remain satisfied that everything went as well as could be expected.
As of right now, I would recommend Hy Pro Scooters as a company to do your Scooter Shopping with. Mike and Matt are reasonably knowledgable about the product they sell. They are straight up folks and will tell you when you're going astray.
