They were going to hook me up with an Italjet Dragster a few years ago. I decided against it, but the owner was easy to work with and willing to help. Seemed like a nice enough guy.

That Dragster is a funky looking machine, but I like the naked look, kind of like the Honda Rukus.

I bought my scoot from them. I love my scooter but I have my doubts as to if it was actually brand new or not when I bought it. It had 88 miles on it. I got the warranty and all, but my gas gauge has not worked from day 1. On my 500 mile service they said it was repaired but it still doesn't work (will take care of when the weather breaks). Rick is a very personable guy. He works like a true salesman and I think he runs a clean business. Just know what you want if you decide to buy. But I would give that advice to anyone dealing anywhere. How did you hear about him, RetroAJ?

just wondering if anyone has delt with zoot scoots here in ohio? YES, we tried but: prices about $200 higher than other dealers for same scooter. No parts in stock. Seemed unknowledgeable. no showroom except for sidewalk. very small facility with big Back log on service with only one mechanic. Didn't do business there for all of these reasons.

Geronimo, I found him off of Italjets site when I did a dealer search. But that was two years ago. It may be different listings now.

Something you should know about zootscoots... I test drove a scooter there. Without a license, which is AGAINST THE LAW. He knew I didn't have a license, because he asked me, and said it was no big deal. 3 other area dealers flat out refused to let me ride their bikes, because they would be liable for any damages that may happen should I get in an accident.
According to the Urban Legend, a local municipality where zootscoots is located owns a scooter now, due to an accident that occurred while an illegal rider was "test driving"....
I was pretty upset when I found out that I could have been arrested while test driving. I was a total NOOB when I did it, and felt that I was misled by the owner of the dealership.... What else would he mislead me on if I bought product from him?

They have been thinking of adding a quality foreign scooter. Otherwise, you are stuck with either POC in Cleveland or Zoot in Columbus.

After looking more into zoot scoots prices, I have to give them a better score. Their price includes freight and dealer prep which makes it less than POC in Cleveland. Other issues still stand.

I live in ohio and i have been talking to a local dealer about issues with my new roceta. He has been pretty helpful over the phone. S&A scooters in North Ridgville which is not far from cleveland. You tak your chances with anyone you buy from. I would never buy online ever again because you have almost no chance of getting parts under warranty. Not only that but most bike dealers are reluctant to work on a bike they didn't sell you. Make sure you you get the terms of the warranty in writting before you buy.

Even though Zoot is our competitor in town Rick and crew are good folks. They support theirs and other local communities and charities.
I suspect loudest143 and I know each other!
Rick and crew have been shut down for a couple weeks for vacations and Holidays.

I suspect all of you folks are too far north, but I'll through out another 'OHIO' choice for scooters.
Metro Scooter in Cincinnati. I have not (yet) purchased from them. But they seemed nice enough. They carry Genuine, TGB, and Kymco. And they own a shop next store to work on them. One building houses the bikes, and the other used to be a foreign car repair shop, now is a foreign scooter repair shop :-) Well I suppose that is how it works.
No I'm not affiliated with them. I was just reading this post and checking out other Ohio dealers.
Good luck,
Bear

Yeah, Oldscooterguy, we have met, I believe. In fact I think you gave me a ride on a Blur, grey, not the orange sometime back in the summer. I couldn't get the moolah for the Blur, and ended up with a Strada. I have been in on a couple other occasions, and will be back in after the weather warms up for a proper introduction. Of course, I'll bring the scoot with me. You and your staff's opinions and input will be welcome.
