Dear tbglfhn, Sorry about you problems with scooter demand. I brought mines from them. Although my scooter is a good one, I did alot of praying before I brought it, their customer service was the pits. You should read my account: www.scooterforumonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=912Danny

Thanks for posting your sad experience with scootdemand.com. Sorry about your bad experience. I hope that the bike gets fixed up and you get great service from it. I just looked at their web site, the first thing I thought was 'slick!. too slick!; which I fid disgusting, because they seem to carry some really good brands. What a shame!

Oh no, I ordered from Scooterdemand too. I hope I am one of the lucky ones! If you are lucky enough that your scooter arrives in reasonable shape, and if you assume that scooterdemand will be completely useless for any sort of assistance, then you will be OK. Unless the scooter is completely unusable, don't spend time trying to beat any help out of them. Just go to the forums like this and ask for help getting it into shape. One additional word of caution: Don't go to scooterbbs.com unless you want to be beaten up for buying a Chinese scooter. There is no help there. Jon

you should expect that buying one of these scooters will require some tuning and maintainence. so that's a given i think.
but I also bought from scooterdemand.com. they shipped my scooter out quickly and in fine shape. i did have to replace some parts for it though already. but they dont make the scooter so can't blame them for it. HOWEVER....their customer service is a complete joke. They do not try to honor the warranty that comes with purchasing your scooter. I've had the unfortunate experience of needing to send in 2 parts for warranty replacement and they haven't still sent me anything in almost 3 months. I've called many times and just kept getting the run around and told that I would get called back. That didn't happen. Don't count on it. I had to look them up on BBB and find the owner's name so I could ask to speak with him directly. When I did talk to him he seemed interested in helping, but he abruptly hung up after I gave him my information and I had to call him right back to know what the heck he was going to still do about it. Very unprofessional. I had him cc me an email for the request that he sent to where he gets the warranted parts from, so supposedly it will be taken care off. So now I am just waiting on that, it's been 2 business days so far. I'll update this though when I find out what happends. But my advice to you is to NOT buy the extended warranty after the original mfg one. 80 bucks isnt worth the hassel. You can just buy the parts off of other worthy vendor's sites when you need them.
