A local dealer here informed me that his first batch of Roketas were built by JMStar also. His second batch was not and he was not happy. I don't know how accurate that info is but just thought I would pass it along.

Boy oh boy I could clear alot of things up in here with a short phone call to me at scootertronics, some of you are close some way off, 2-3 weeks, they have no scooters, JMStar has thier own rep right here in the US, payless yep payless get less, if its too good to true its not, I love scooters and ride everyday, I even pay someone to run my shop and store and we see it all. I have had my share of bad things and taken huge hits to stay in the biz but you live and learn. The only problem is I can not ride them all.

Extreme Scooters.com (yes, the bad one) has a model called the Touring SL-150T-26 (150cc) and the Touring SL-50T-26 (50cc) that does, indeed, have 16" wheels. What we need is for xxx-motorsports.com (mentioned earlier) to get this model! I have been researching the wheels off this new online Chinese scooter market, and XXX stands out. If you look carefully, that company is much like Amazon, with a real warehouse and a real office staffed by real people, and they are not just a local scooter shop running an online sideline. We need more research into both this dealer and the 16"-wheeled scooter. For instance, who builds it?

Welcome to the group I too owned a Primo from Payless and it was built by JMStar and was a fine scoot. Don't expect much help from Payless if it has a problem. They have undergone their 5th name change again and are no longer Payless on Ebay in fact they aren't on Ebay at all. If you have trouble do not despair we can help! There are other sources for parts if they give you the run-around. Glad you found us and hope the scoot is trouble free. Just be sure to do regular maintence and check it over often for loose bolts especially the two that hold the exhaust header to the cylinder. Any more questions don't be afraid to ask.

Hi Everyone! It's been a long time since I've been on and I thought I'd share a little of my experience the last 8 or 9 months. If you recall, I purchased a Terminator 150 from Paylessscooter last May and had a number of minor problems mainly associated with fuel lines and filters. My biggest problem was (and still is) my muffler. The bolt that mounts the muffler tab to the real real came out and was lost only about a month after I bought the scooter (shame on me for not going through Lee's new owners manual tightening all the bolts on the scoot!). I found a replacement at a local hardware store and thought nothing of it.
About 2 weeks later I heard a rattling sound and looked down to see that the tab had cracked and broken. Further inspection revealed that the front support had started to crack as well. All this in less than 2 months of owning the scooter. Payless has been a royal pain in the keister, never giving ANY help whatsoever with my other problems and also with the muffler problems. Carlos promised to help but then recently said his hands were tied and management was not going to warrant the muffler. So, now I'm filing a petition with New York Attorney General to have my scooter replaced under the lemon law. I'm not real hopeful, but it's a shot.
Now, to exremescooters.biz. While searching for a replacement muffler, knowing that I was going to have to buy one anyway, I found their website. They had a complete replacement muffler and free shipping for about $107. I ordered it last Thursday night (April 6th) and I got it today (April 11th). Pretty good service for the most part. As for quality? Well, I'm not the most knowledgable about this kind of thing, but it looks to be pretty nice. The flange on the pipe that mounts to the engine looks to have pretty good welds for the most part though part of the pipe extends a hair past the flange. A quick hit with my Dremel should take care of that. I'll know better once I get it installed to see how it sounds and performs.
As for now, I'd have to give them two thumbs up!! for the quick shipping and including everything I ordered.

OOPS! That first paragraph should have stated "rear wheel" instead of real real. What was I thinking?

Welcome Back! I'm sorry your having trouble could you just have the old one welded up with anew stronger tab as a back up? I see Payless now Scooternmotors or something like that has started posting on Eay again check out the new Primo Terminator Red and Blue and covered in chrome.. the floor, the fan cover, the wheels, the front fender, it no longer has the two-stroke style exhaust, and lots more. Can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear though it may looked like it just got off the Pimp my Ride show but we know the truth. glad you stopped by to give an update.. do so more often!

You're right, Aaron, about making a silk purse out of sows ear. They sell Crap, with a capital 'C'. I'm so pissed at them, I did the same thing I did last year and created a listing on eBay to give information to people about them. Well, eBay removed my listing because I wasn't selling anything and I can't post my personal opinions on a listing. I think I'm going to create an information sheet that I will "sell" to people for One shiney penny and since I can email it to them, there won't be any shipping costs. I've even thought about taking out in advertisement in their local paper in Oceanside letting potetial customers now how bad they are. I've GOT to do something to hit them in their wallets. I'm going to keep pushing this lemon law thing but I'm not real hopeful it will work.
As far as welding the original, I've tried that, and it keeps breaking. I'm going to install the one I got from extremescooters.biz and see how it performs. I'll let you know ....

Chad at extremescooters.biz has gotten the Lance line in also. Ive just found out so many great deals with lance scooters if i would have shopped around. Not that im not happy with the price i paid for my Lance Duke Touring 250cc scooter but whoa i coulda saved an extra hundred dollars. Im sure anyone that carries the Lance brand will do decent as with Scootersfactory they took care of all these good customers and it shows on the threads.
