Is it time for you to uncover your scooter and get out of it's holding pen to roam and cause havoc on the roads? Most might of sat it there in the corner for the last few months and will uncover it, only to find it dead and unresponsive.
Time to do a little pre-spring stuff to it. 1. Take the battery out, check fuild lvl and make sure it is fully charged. 2. Change your oil, it is all in the crank case by now. 3. Take the spark plug off reinstall the battery and hit the starter a few times to real quick to start some oil to get around. 4. Check your fuel and vaccuum lines for cracks and breaks, or the occational mouse nips. 5. Make sure everything is still where it was when you parked it, and attempt to start your scooter. If it starts, your are 3/4's of the way there. 6. Check all lights, tire pressures and most off all, your personal safety equipment, Helmet/gloves/leather Jacket. They also need to be checked and cleaned up.
I hope this will get your mind set to enjoy a summertime full of exploring your area in peace and comfort on your scooter. If you do any addition or different pre-riding season things. Feel free to add them so we all can make good use it.

Been running my scoot every week or two all winter in the garage until it is warmed up. I have kept checking lights, oil, etc. But I am sending her off to my mech for a check over and oil change before I head out (he's nearly next door). I am anxious! Snow has kept making unwelcome returns here too. A nice post pressman. Exalt! Tom
