I had read too many "My 250cc scooter overheats," this and that. Well mine does also. I will not state the name of mine, but those that have 2006 and older Lance, ViVa, Tank and such 250's. This might be of benifit for you to follow. This work still is in progress and this begins at part 1. After removing all the front panels, the gas tank and radiator, I made and welded on 2 metal extentions on each side of the frame, as shown in the photo. I also had to bend in the front of the gas tank and malleted it in a small distance. As you can see, it has just very little room with the stock fan. In another photo you will see there is space and clearance for the front fender. All my stock wiring is unmodified and there is now alot of extra open space where the radiator once was. This is part 1, tomorrow if time is on my side, I'll be fitting new hose, and setting in the pannels. With this I hope to see a more steady lower water and head temp's. I also plan on having this done by the weekend.

That is pretty neat. But, I have to ask, have you double checked to ensure that the front wheel/fender won't hit the radiator when you go over a good bump or not? From the picture it looks mighty close.
