That looks just like the stock instrument panel assembly on my scooter. I like the analog tach, easy to read, gives a stabile(not jerky) reading, and has always seemed to be accurate.

Looks like the the green wire goes to the magneto, and the black is ground. Not sure about the yellow, may be to a powered source.

Suspect you are correct Jacine. The cluster should be an exact match for my 150, although I will probably use my Speedo as it is in Miles rather than KM. I kinda want to see the electronics used on the tachometer. I have always thought this was a simple problem if one had some idea as to the values needed for the components.

Yellow wire maybe for the back ground light.

That is similar to hat is on my scoot. Except mine doesn't have a redline on it, and the odometer and speed are both in miles and not kilometers. Not sure about the accuracy though, at 50mph my tach says the engine is turning at about 9,000 rpm. The speedo was quite good though. I took advantage of a police radar warning trailer setup on the road, and the speed read about 45mph and the radar displayed 45mph. So my speedo is close enough for government work.

My tiny tach reads about 8000 to 8200 (i forget exactly) at 55mph.. its not to say your tach is off, but your tach is off..lol.. 9000 does seem a bit high for that speed, we all know how accurate the chinometering devices are... if you really want to know your rpm the tiny tach was definitly worth the $40... stupidly easy to install:
Tape the sensor wire to a unraveled coat hanger and snake it down the column, run it under the floor boardand up into the engine compartment, wrap iot around the plug wire.. done... next ground the other lead to any bolt on the motor, i used th estarters ground bolt.. Flawless

Great find, I've seen the company on eBay already, selling a Chinese made Yanmar Diesel clone. I didn't even know they sold Chinese scooter parts. Seem to have a good approval rating, anybody ever deal with them before?

Any news on this thing? ? I also saw it on ebay, but I didn't know if it would work on a QMB139 engine.

I got one of those from ebay today. The mounts were broken. Did you install yours yet? My original speedometer was broken, I need one to go thru inspection.
