I'd be interested in the feedback you get on that....any insights overall on boosting the performance of a 50cc. (Aside from buying a bigger scoot) Any one have experience with the aftermarket to boost the ooomph on a 50cc?

Ebay Link: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2F320104549010_W0QQfromZR40QQfviZ1&item=320104549010It looks to be the regular big bore kit for a QMB type of 50cc engine. The last I remember Pepboys had sold several different scoots with different engines. So I am not sure which engine it would fit or not. They had both the 50cc two stroke engines and the 50cc four stroke engines. This kit is for a four stroke engine so that may be a promising thing. But you may have to machine the case to fit the bigger cylinder. Usually one removes any speed restriction devices that are on the engine. Then a better exhaust system and then a better air intake filter system. next one fiddles with the variator weights to improve acceleration some. Finally , then one goes for the big bore kit.

That's what I'm doing now. Trying all the tricks from my drag racing days. Spending as little as possible first. Then maybe a BB kit.
