took my scoot for a ride today and stopped to visit a friend when I tried to start the scoot nothing happened, the horn would blow and the lights would burn so I figgered the battery was ok, so I pulled the storage compartment out and started checking all the wires, I found that the two little wires that ran from the starter button to the starter had came upluged right next to the CDU i pluged it back in and it started right up, it seemed to me like the wire was about an 1/2 inch to short and it just unpluged itself, I rerouted the wire and was able to gain about an inch so it should be ok...just a tip.

cathouse; Just another example of the things you might expect from the typical Chinese scoot. You really do have to check everything imaginable, literally as though you were reassembling the entire scoot. Even when you think you have checked everything, "stuff" still happens!

Another one, I was adjusting the tire pressure in on my front tire when I noticed that my brake line to the ABS system was kinked. They put the bracket on backwards and caused it to be in a bind thus kinked. I turned the little bracket over and problem solved.
