I bought 2 daytona 150cc scooters. I cant get the mirrors to adjust to where I need them. Any suggestions or tips? the mirrors also have turn singles built in.

A notorious problem with those types of mirrors and the angle of the "dash". I was able to ground an angle on each spacer, causing the mirror mirror to be kicked slightly. I rotated the spacer until I achieved the correct angle of the mirror head, allowing a proper view of the rear. Takes some trial-n-error but it worked for me. Some folks just eliminate the stock mirror and go with the traditional metal shaft ones which allow more adjustment. You do need to get ones with the proper thread size on the shaft.

Mike,
I don't know if the Daytona has the same kind of mirrors as my Tank Touring (it does have turn signals in the mirrors). I couln't get my mirrors to stay where I set them. The mirror mounts with a single socket head cap screw through a spacer and has a rubber bushing on the bottom of the mirror stem. I found that the mounting screws were bottoming out before the mirror was tight. I put a split ring lockwasher under the head of each mounting screw and reassembled; problem solved!
BTW while you have things apart, you may want to put electrical tape over the little connectors where the turn signals in the mirrors plug into the wiring harness. The plastic sleeve the mfr. uses tends to slide up and down the wire creating the possibility of at least partial shorts. My lights did some weird things before I put that tape on.

woodlark; Good point you make about the bolt bottoming out. I didn't have this problem on either of my scoots with this type of mirror but while trying shorter spacers I did notice that the bolt could bottom out. I have seem comments on other boards that some folks just could not get the bolts tight enough to keep the mirrors in plane. Guess we know why!
