Something that I rarely see adressed on the forums is valve adjustments. This is a relatively simple thing to do, but when you consider how many small things are overlooked in the Chinese factory, I'm surprised that I don't see more suggestions about this. I found that mine were set with at least double the clearance that they should have had, so if you are after full performance, adjust the tappets correctly on your scooters. Stan
PS: If your "manual" doesn't list the clearance, they are available in the "Part Numbers for Common Items" page on my site.

Nah, everyone still needs the Dawg Obedience Manual! ;D Lee does a great job of illustrating the common service items. Lee does a lot for the scooter hobby and buying his manual helps offset some of the cost he incurs, so it's a very good thing. I don't know of anyone else that is in closer contact with the various importers and major vendors, which also helps all of the scooter hobbyists. For those that don't have the Dawg manual, it's on his site at www.scootdawg.com . Stan

If it has a Visa/MC/Discover/Amex logo on it, it should work with any vendor. My site uses PayPal, which should accept them all as well. Stan

No these are vendor specific. In my area the only places I can use it are the dealership where I bought my scoot, and a ton of tire shops ( guess I know what I am upgrading next LOL ). I know a shop in tulsa that was looking into financing through them, but would love it if you would talk to them. I was approved in about ten minutes through the shop in town and they gave me a $2500.00 limit my scoot was 1500.00 I would love to add parts but cant stand the dealership here. If you would like I can give you thier customer service line. I know you are probably happy with the way you are currently doing business and I totaly respect that but I believe the only stupid question is the one you don't ask so what "the hey" . but if it helps I am seriously interested in buying MRP parts and don't use any other form of credit. I am kind of a cash only kind of guy but I was in a bind for a second mode of transportation and bought my scoot hoping to solve that problem. On the bad side I had a lot of trouble with the scoot and the dealer HOWEVER I fell in love with riding the dang thing and want to continue to improve it. NOTE I think the GE MONEY bank card is also good at exon mobile stations as thier logo is on the back BUt definetly not a debit card or VISA / MC

When you say .08 and .10, you have got to supply the type of units. We are always crossing over from Metric to Imperical. Surely, if those units are in imperical, you've left out a zero after the dot. On your question, MRP also sent me a new chain and I could never figure out why....and they couldn't really tell me. You can get some cool stuff from MRP, but don't expect a lot of tech support.
