1. Mc 54 250 or mc 250b (is there a difference with the b?) 2. Roketa bali 250 3. Sp 250 type 79 4. Sp 250 type 54b
Which of these would you pick? Also any 250 that is under $1700 that you could reccommend. Thanks

Fior that money you can get close to buying a used japan brand with EFI that will stay with high speed interstate traffic and reliably run the ethanal/gasoline mix we are more or less stuck with. NO fixing is nice

(you can fix your own Chinese stuff in the backyard or garage.) for the cost of cheap parts and a little elbow grease.

Where are you generally?? I am in Ohio on the outskirts of Columbus. I generally ride on back roads but I travel via freeway afew times a week and in traffic a bit a well. I won't be relying on my scoot for anything, it is just for fun however I will be riding a lot. My only other option is a kimco people 250 s at a local dealer for $2500 with around 10,000 miles. Let me know if these are extremely expensive to work on like the Japanese bikes. I know it sounds weird but I liked working on my Chinese 150 when it would break down. I will be constantly tinkering with whatever I get as that's just how I am

The Kymco is a good bike and parts for it should be fairly priced.
I owned a VW bug and parts were cheap but it needed them every week it seemed like always something. I replaced it with the Suzuki as my primary and I have spent far less on parts in the last 6 months than the previous. I just ordered a rebuild kit for the very slow leak I have at the water pump and it cost less than $60 including shipping for 2 seals, 3 O-rings, and the oil filter... Parts aren't as bad as people IMAGINE them to be... You can still do your own maintenance...

Is $2500 a fair price for the kimco people 250s?

What year? It is probably close to right if it is fairly new. I ”paid" $2750 for my 06 Burgman if that helps you put it in perspective. At a dealer I would guess they are close to average retail book value or closer to high bring em down a couple hundred if you can.

I think you'll like the last one... Thanks! I really hope the xcite is still available. That seems like a really good price to me.

I went and looked at the kimco and it was not running very well. the dealership seemed really shady as well. this one has got my attention - 2006 Suzuki Burgman AN400 motor scooter Less than 20,000 mile - $3295 but the price seems a little high as nada lists it as being valued between $2,300 and $3,200 retail. it looks to be in very good shape though.

Offer them something between the 2... Likely the kimco runs like crud cause the stuff in the tank is no longer gasoline. Don't get it if you can't verify that. Smell the tank it's always obvious there...
